Every project is personally overseen by Gusto Build owner, Angus Jones, alongside the Gusto Build team. Angus stays closely involved throughout the build, ensuring clear communication, quality workmanship, and a smooth experience from start to finish.
3 / Can you help with the design process?
Absolutely. We enjoy working collaboratively with architects, designers, and consultants to bring your vision to life. If you're still in the early planning stages, we can also help connect you with the right professionals and guide you through the design journey before construction begins.
4 / Do you only build architecturally designed homes?
We work on a wide range of projects, from bespoke architectural homes to practical family homes and renovations. Whatever the style or scale of your project, our focus is on delivering a high-quality result that suits your lifestyle and budget.
5 / How long will my build or renovation take?
Every project is different, so timelines vary depending on the size, complexity, and consent requirements. Before construction begins, we'll provide a realistic programme and keep you updated throughout the build so you always know what to expect.
6 / Do you manage the building consent process?
Short answer no, as this is typically handled by your architect. However we do work closely with architects, designers, engineers, and local councils to help the building consent process go smoothly. We coordinate any required documentation and liaise with the relevant professionals. At the completion of your project, we also handle the Code Compliance Certificate (CCC) paperwork, giving you confidence that all final approvals are in place.
7 / Can you build on challenging or rural sites?
Yes. We have experience building on rural properties, sloping sections, coastal sites, and other challenging locations. We coordinate the specialists required for your project, including geotechnical engineers and arborists where needed, ensuring your site is properly assessed and prepared before construction begins.
8 / How much does it cost to build or renovate?
Every home and renovation is unique, so we provide tailored pricing based on your plans, site, and specifications. After discussing your project and understanding your goals, we'll prepare a clear, detailed quote so you can make informed decisions with confidence.
